The College of Environmental Sciences is a key contributor to an impactful project implemented at the University of Sulaimani, which has made significant strides in environmental restoration. Supported by the World Food Programme (WFP) and engineered by the College of Engineering, with phytotechnology designed by the College of Environmental Sciences, this project is now completed. It serves as a center of excellence for educating and raising awareness within the community. The project was supervised by the Office of Project University of Sulaimani. The opening ceremony for this project took place on May 29, 2024.
