During World Compost Week at the College of Environmental Sciences, University of Sulaimani in Sharbazher, a significant announcement was made. Today, on May 9th, 2024, attendees including the Governor of Sharbazher district, the Director of Sulaymaniyah Agriculture, the Director of Agriculture of Sharbazher, representatives from the Municipality, the Student Association of Sharbazher Area, academic staff, and students gathered to learn about an innovative initiative—the Compost Project.
The event commenced with opening remarks by the Governor of Sharbazher district, followed by an introduction from the Dean of the Environmental Science College. A seminar was then conducted to elaborate on the project, featuring a distinguished panel comprised of:
