On the occasion of World Environment Day, the College of Environmental Sciences, in collaboration with the Green Kurdistan Association, celebrated at the University of Sulaimani on June 5, 2024. The event featured numerous seminars and discussion panels centered around the theme ‘Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience.’ Key discussions focused on forest fires and land restoration. ‘ the College of Environmental Sciences at the University of Sulaimani implemented various projects such as composting, constructed wetland , and carbon footprint project to demonstrate the impact of resilience and restoration.
